Fees & Funding Options

Transparent, trauma-informed, and flexible, so you know exactly what to expect.

I believe in making therapy as accessible, straightforward, and stress-free as possible. Below you’ll find a clear breakdown of my fees, rebates, and funding pathways. If you’re unsure which option applies to you, just reach out; I’m always happy to guide you through it.

Individual counselling

Initial assessment session $235 (first appointment 60 min) and ongoing sessions (50 min) $215

Initial assessment (First appointment) Medicare rebate: $87.25 (with a Mental Health Care Plan)

Your first session is a little longer and gives us space to:

  • explore your history, strengths, and challenges

  • look at your priorities, needs, and therapy goals

  • decide together whether we’re the right fit

This session is collaborative and gentle, no pressure, no interrogation-style questioning, just a warm space to get to know each other and make sure this is the right therapeutic home for you.

Ongoing individual sessions
Medicare rebate:
$61.80 (with a valid Mental Health Care Plan)

Individual counselling sessions are 50 minutes and are completely tailored to your needs, goals, and sensory/energy preferences.
This is a neurodiversity-affirming space where you can show up as your whole self, no masking needed.

Couples counselling

$235 per session (60 min)

I am trained in the Developmental Model of couples therapy by the Couples Institute, which means sessions usually include a mix of joint and individual sessions (all individual sessions remain confidential).

This approach helps each person feel safe, heard, and understood, and it allows us to explore both the relationship dynamic and each person’s individual needs.

Couples sessions are ideal for:

  • neurodivergent + neurotypical partnerships

  • ADHD/Autism relationship support

  • communication difficulties

  • attachment wounds

  • conflict cycles

  • reconnecting and building safety

Nature based sessions

$245 per 60-minute session.

$245 per 60-minute session

Medicare rebate: $124.30 (with MHCP + eligible session length)

These sessions take place outdoors; walking, grounding, sitting in nature, or a mix of all three.

Perfect for clients who:

  • regulate better while moving

  • find indoor settings overstimulating

  • process more freely without eye contact

  • feel grounded and calm in nature

Nature-based therapy can deepen insight, speed up emotional processing, and support nervous-system regulation in ways the therapy room sometimes can’t.

Funding options

Medicare (MHCP)

If you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you are eligible for Medicare rebates on individual therapy sessions (including walk-and-talk). Medicare does not currently provide rebates for couples counselling.
I can help you work out whether this option suits your goals.

NDIS Funding

I work with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants.
Therapy can be accessed under:
Assessment, Recommendation, Therapy or Training - Social Worker Therapeutic Supports - Improved Daily Living Skills. If you’re unsure whether therapy fits your plan, I can help you navigate your options.

JobAccess - EAF (Employee Assistance Funding)

If you’re employed and experiencing challenges at work related to neurodivergence, mental health, or disability, you may be eligible for EAF-funded therapy through JobAccess. This can support you with:
emotional regulation, communication skills, executive functioning, work-related stress, adjustments to thrive in your workplace. I can guide you through the process if this is something you’d like to explore.

Private Health Funds

Many private health insurers offer rebates for individual therapy, and some may offer support for couples counselling (varies by provider and level of cover). It’s best to check directly with your fund about your entitlements.

If You’re Unsure What You Need…

Just send me an email. I’m always happy to walk you through your options, figure out what funding you qualify for, and help you choose the pathway that fits your goals, energy, and budget.
