Daisy Grodzki, Accredited Mental Health Social Worker

Hi, I’m Daisy. I was born in the Netherlands and moved to lutruwita/Tasmania in 2020 after falling in love with the island’s natural beauty. Nature has always been an important part of my life and continues to influence the way I practice; reminding me of the importance of slowing down, grounding, and reconnecting.

I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with over ten years of experience working across the Netherlands and Australia in youth and adult mental health, EAP services, ADHD support, trauma therapy, and clinical supervision. I bring a trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, and person-centred approach to my work, tailoring therapy to the needs and goals of each client.

In sessions, I combine evidence-based therapies with mindfulness, somatic practices, and a holistic focus on both mind and body. I believe people already carry the wisdom and capacity for change within them; therapy is about creating a safe, supportive space where those strengths can be rediscovered and put into action.

I have trained in a wide range of modalities, including ACT, DBT-informed skills, schema therapy, mindfulness, yoga, eco-psychotherapy, ADHD coaching, trauma-informed psychotherapy, and couples therapy (Developmental Model). My experience spans working with young people, adults, couples, and families, as well as providing supervision to other practitioners.

What I love most about this work is the opportunity to walk alongside people as they navigate life’s challenges and discover new ways of relating to themselves, others, and the world around them. Whether it’s supporting someone through trauma, strengthening relationships, or helping clients reconnect with their sense of balance and possibility; I feel privileged to be part of that process.
